Hooters of America today announced that the first mission for the newest addition to its Hooters Air fleet will be to transport Hooters officials and some contestants in the 7th Annual International Swimsuit Pageant to Las Vegas, NV for Hooters 20th Anniversary celebrations. The aircraft, a Boeing 737-300 series, will land at 12:05 PM at Signature FBO in Las Vegas on Sunday, July 6th.
Hooters of America, Inc. will hold its 7th Annual Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant at the Paris Resort in Las Vegas, NV on Wednesday, July 9th. One hundred and one beautiful Hooters Girls from around the country, as well as from several international locations, will compete for the title of Miss Hooters International 2003. The event will be broadcast live on DIRECTV at all Hooters Restaurants at 9:00 PM (Eastern time) on July 9th. Over $100,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded to the top contestants, with $20,000 being awarded to the winne.
VH1 will have a presence at the Pageant, as well as during Hooters 20th Anniversary celebration to create a special Hooters edition of VH1's Top 20 Countdown Show, where the sexiest videos from the past twenty years will be ranked. This special edition is in honor of Hooters 20th Anniversary.
Notable attendees at the 20th Anniversary celebrations include the six founders of the Hooters concept, as well as Lynne Austin, who was the very first Hooters Girl.
